A one of a kind traditional Indian woollen rug/carpet made in Central India with utmost precision. The tradition to make these carpets/rugs was established in the Mughal workshops. It has an empty field on which a medallion is placed. The border is a mix of rose, palmette and vine motifs. The dark blue field resembles the shade of the night sky while the other colours of brick red, pale yellow, light blue, beige and pale green accentuate the borders. The carpet/rug has a lustrous wool pile and a cotton base. It is a perfect fit for either a contemporary or classical decor.
