This unique rug/carpet was made in circa 1920 in the Tabriz region of Iran. It has lustrous wool that gives it a sheen similar to those of silk carpets/rugs. It has a striking medallion at the centre of the rug/carpet with two lamps hanging from either end of them. The field has animal and human motifs along with flowers that are connected by scrolling vines. The natural abrash spread through the rug/carpet gives it a rustic feel which makes it a great addition to any space.
