This stunning woollen carpet/rug was made by the Baloch people in Khorasan, Iran. The carpets/rugs made in the region are considered to be the best of the Baloch carpets/rugs. This particular carpet/rug has a medallion that is repeated throughout the runner. The border has a beatiful diamond shaped motif repeated in a lattice through the ends of the woollen carpet/ rug. It is made of superior quality wool and naturaly dyed colours that are made by the tribals themselves. The colours include navy blue, rust, beige, brown and orange-red.
