This beautiful Kashmiri silk carpet/rug has been inspired by the panel carpets of the Bhakthiari people. Tree of life variations and pine motifs are used in each panel of the carpet. The border has similar variations of the same.The primary colours used on the carpet are gold, light blue, green, rust and dark blue. It is a silk on cotton carpet which means that the warp is made of cotton and the pile/knots are made of Mulberry silk.
