This is a stunning persian rug/carpet that was made in the Khorasan province of Iran about 50 years ago. This particular rug/carpet is a mix of a pictorial Kashmar and a Ravar Kerman design. The central medallion of the rug/carpet is not symmetrical and has a village scene with two large birds. The rest of the rug/carpet has a mix of deer and bird motifs surrounded by a dense layer of flora that is placed on beautiful blues, brows and beige. This beautiful wool carpet/rug is a rare addition to any collection and a great addition to any decor.
