This stunning Isfahan uses the Ismaili medallion made famous in Isfahan. This small but round medallion is connected to all the motifs of iris rose and peony. The rug is a stunning red with pastel shades of green to fill in the rest of the spaces and sprinkles of white and brown. This fine Mulberry silk carpet was made in the the downtown area of Srinagar.
