A rustic Kilim made by the tribal people of the Afghan, Baluch, between 1960-1970 making it approximately 50-60 years old. The Kilim is made of locally procured hand spun sheep wool and naturaly obtained dyes which is a characteristic of the time-period. The design has a nice blend of geomtric and floral motifs making it a perfect fit for a contmporary or a classical ambience. Colours include mainly brick, orange and a light rust. The Socio-Ethnographic conditions that existed at the time of making this are almost non existant today. In the near future kilims of this calibre will be rare.
