This rug is an inspired by Vincent Van Gogh's "The Starry Night" oil painting which he did during his stay at the asylum of Saint-Paul-de-Mausole near Saint-Rémy-de-Provence in 1889. Van Gogh was a Dutch post-impressionist painter. The colours mainly include blue and grey.
