Jangi literally translates to War, the carpet/rug depicts the conflict due to the Soviet occupation of Afghanistan during the 1970s. It shows tanks and helicopters used by the Soviets during the war. It is spread in an even way through the field in a repetitive manner. The carpet/rug represents how the weavers and artisans defied the times they were in; in a sense to portray war or peace the art lives on. A quirky addition to any decor, it is sure to capture ones eye. The colours include blue, brick, brown and beige.
The carpet/rug is readily available to ship.
