A fine wool tribal rug made by the nomadic Turkoman tribe. It has three medallions and multi border style. The wool used on the carpet is fine hand spun wool taken from sheeps reared by the Turkoman and the dyes used are obtained from flowers, vegetables and stones found in the area. It is very tighly woven rug with a rather unusual but high knot count signifying exrermely high quality workmanship. The colours used on the rug are red, brown, blue, orange and beige.
