This type of Kilim is called a Soumak Kilim. Soumak Kilims are generally superior in construction when compared to other types of Kilims.Colours include red,black,blue-grey and white. The Socio-Ethnographic conditions that existed at the time of making this are non existent today. These are extremely rare and sought after carpets/rugs.
