A rustic Kilim made by the tribal people of the Afghan, Baluch, between 1960-1970 making it approximately 50-60 years old. The Kilim is made of locally procured hand spun sheep wool and naturaly obtained dyes which is a characteristic of the time-period. The design has eight sheep depicted on it, it s a very uniqur tribal weave. Colours include mainly brick, orange and a light rust. The Socio-Ethnographic conditions that existed at the time of making this are almost non existant today.
