A tribal carpet/rug made of exquisite quality of soft wool, typically used by the Baloch tribal weavers of Afghanistan. The theme of the carpet/rug is depicted in the main motif which is a paisley and it is placed on four corners of the field. The medallion has a hexagonal motif which is repeated throughout the rug/carpet. The rest of the rug/carpet has abstract motifs of leaves, flowers, quadrants and lattices. The beauty of this carpet/rug lies in its use of natural dyes in shades of mainly blue, brick, green and beige.
