This beautiful Persian carpet/rug was made in Kashan, Iran, approximately during the years 1980-1990. Typical of a Persian rug/carpet from the region, it has a central medallion on a red field. This is surrounded by Iris, Rose, Peony and Palmette motifs which are all inter-connected by vines. The term "Kuruk" comes from the soft and lustrous wool that is used on the carpet/rug. This woollen carpet/rug will add a touch of grandeur to any environment.
