A new carpet/rug made in Herat, Afghanistan. The design has got small Turkoman Guls placed all over the beige field of the carpet. The vibrant deep red and indigo give this hand knotted carpet/rug a modern yet traditional feel. It has got a multi layered design border with alternating motifs. Vegetable dyes are used in making the rug/carpet. It is an extremely densely knotted wool on cotton carpet/rug.
