An Afghan hand knotted carpet/rug named after the last king of Afghanistan. Originally, these carpets/rugs were designed for the king's royal places itself. The main motif is an adaptation of the traditional Turkman motif. The Zahir Shahi motif was made popular during the king's reign. It has an extremely large border with small motifs that fill it completely. A durable carpet with colours of red, tan, deep blue and beige made of soft and lustrous wool with a combination of natural dyes.
